Homeschool Support

$85 half day $150 full day · per child · weekly spots are limited

You keep homeschooling — your kids come to me for part of the week. Set mornings or a full day, and I teach in the same rhythm as my lesson plans: read-aloud, copywork, math, and one hands-on extra.

  • Core mornings (reading · writing · math) or a full "Mrs. A Day" with science, art, and nature
  • Ideal for working parents, big families, or a season that's just a lot
  • A small group — a handful of kids at a time — so every child gets my attention

How homeschool support works

You stay the teacher. Your kids come to me for the rest.

People sometimes call this "homeschool for hire," and here's what it really means with me: you're still homeschooling. You choose the direction; on set days your kids come to me and I teach — reading, copywork, math, and one hands-on extra — in a rhythm they'll recognize from my lesson plans. A few families share the day, so it feels like a tiny, cozy schoolhouse.

Core Mornings2–3 mornings a week · the daily anchors: reading, writing, math
A "Mrs. A Day"one full day a week · science, art, nature, poetry — the fun stuff you never get to
Customa season, a specific subject, or siblings together — just ask

Everything I do fits alongside your homeschool, not instead of it. You get a note at pickup so you always know what we covered.

Details

Where does this happen?

Locally, here in Clark County — families come to me, and I share the details once we've connected. An easy drive from Vancouver, Camas, Washougal, Ridgefield, Battle Ground, and La Center.

What ages?

Kindergarten through about 5th grade is my sweet spot. Reading, writing, and math are where I do my best work.

Is homeschool support legal? Who's the teacher of record?

You are. In Washington the parent remains the homeschooler of record — I don't replace that, I strengthen it. I teach, you stay in charge, and you always know exactly what we did (I leave notes every time).

What's your background?

A bachelor's in elementary education, years of teaching my own children and other families' kids, and a whole lot of patience. I'm happy to share references and complete a background check on request.

How do we start?

Send the inquiry below. I'll reply within two business days, we'll have a quick call, and if it's a fit we'll pick days and sort out the details.
