Meet Mrs. A
I'm Hillary — a homeschool mum of three (now a sixth grader, a fifth grader, and a third grader). I have an elementary ed degree and have taught second grade in a classroom setting.
Our homeschool started when my oldest hit kindergarten. I wasn't ready to send him away all day, every day, when it felt like our journey had just begun — I wanted to be the one there when he learned to form his letters. I've since made most of the beginner mistakes myself (ask me about the ten first-grade workbooks I bought a five-year-old), which is exactly why I can help you skip them.
